Direct from the birthplace of coffee, our Ethiopian Harrar coffee beans come from 200 year old trees in the highlands of Harar – an area so remote, that most of the coffee is carried from the mountain by donkeys. It is then processed utilizing an ancient method going back to the beginning of coffee consumption. The coffee cherry is crushed in deep wooden pots by hand and then naturally sun-dried on the ground. The result: a wonder cup of coffee with a clean syrupy body and hints of Chocolate, dark fruits, and sweet tobacco.
